Venezuelan food vendors will occupy three distinct locations at loanDepot park for the upcoming baseball series.
The Choque de Gigantes event brings Navegantes del Magallanes and Tiburones de La Guaira to Miami for two games on Nov. 14 and 15. The series returns to the park after its initial debut in 2024. Organizers have aligned the event with relief efforts for Venezuela, directing a portion of ticket sales and raffle proceeds to Global Empowerment Mission and the We Love Venezuela Foundation.
Doggi’s Arepa Bar will operate from Section 1 on the Promenade Level. This vendor, part of The Change Up presented by Pepsi, serves classic tequeños and signature arepas. Menu items include La Pelúa, La Catira, La Sifrina, and La Tripleta. The stand also sells Doggi’s cheeseburger and crispy fries, aiming to provide fans with traditional street food options during the games.
La Arepera by P.A.N. will take up space in Section 18 on the Promenade Level. This location offers a selection of Latin-inspired items. The menu includes hot dogs, arepas, tequeños, and empanadas for fans looking for different savory options.
BeisBowl will be located in Section 19 on the Promenade Level. The primary offering is the Pabellón Bowl, which contains shredded beef, rice, beans, and plantains. This dish serves as a main course option for attendees.
Beverage stands will feature cocktails named after the competing teams. El Tiburón, representing Tiburones de La Guaira, mixes vodka, blue curaçao, pineapple, and lime. La Nave, inspired by Navegantes del Magallanes, combines aged rum, cola, passion fruit, and lime. Passion fruit guarapitas will be available at Bud Bar, Brew Hall, and Bullpen Bar & Grill. Polar beer will be sold throughout the venue.
Fans can purchase a commemorative Choque de Gigantes souvenir cup. A portion of the proceeds from these cups supports ongoing relief and recovery efforts in Venezuela. The Marlins, both Venezuelan clubs, and the Liga Venezolana de Béisbol Profesional are backing this charitable initiative. Additional fundraising includes a supply drive at the park and an auction featuring signed jerseys and bats.
Saturday, Nov. 14, features a Happy Hour at the Budweiser Bar in center field. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and $5 12-ounce packaged Polar beer will be sold until first pitch at 7 p.m. Students can buy tickets for the Saturday game for $5. The first game starts at 7 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 15, offers a $44 Family Pack. This bundle includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four non-alcoholic drinks, and four popcorns. A portion of the Family Pack proceeds also supports the earthquake relief efforts. The second game starts at 1 p.m. Tickets and further information are available at Marlins.com/Choque.
