Pensacola International Airport will host a four-day enrollment event for TSA PreCheck members starting Tuesday, November 3, and ending Friday, November 6. The sessions are designed to help local travelers secure expedited security screening through a centralized application window.
The event takes place in Suite 225 at 2430 Airport Boulevard. Staff will be available for appointments from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day of the event.
The PreCheck program grants access to expedited lanes at more than 200 airports across the United States. Members are permitted to retain shoes, belts, and light jackets during screening. They may also leave laptops and compliant liquids in their carry-on bags, unlike standard screening procedures.
Eligibility is restricted to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents. Applicants must present identity and citizenship documentation at the in-person appointment. The process includes fingerprinting, a photograph, and payment of a $76.75 fee.
The application fee covers a five-year membership period once approved. Candidates are advised to complete the initial application online at tsaenrollmentbyidemia.tsa.dhs.gov before arriving at the airport to reduce wait times. Most applicants receive their Known Traveler Number within three to five business days after their appointment.
